Cancel Reservation

This is the way

You can cancel a reservation, retainging all the data, but doesn’t hold the items in reserve. If at anytime, you can come back and “Activate” the reservation after it has been cacnelled.

How to cancel a reservation

From the Danger Zone section

• Go to Reservations
• Find the reservation you want to delete
• Scroll down to the Danger Zone section and click to expand
• (Optionally) Check the Notify Guest to send them an email of the cancellation (sample)
• Click Cancel Reservation, then Yes to the warning
• The reservation is now cancelled.

From the Reservation action menu

• Go to Reservations
• (Optional) Click a specific reservation number to go to that reservation
• Click the Down arrow to (it changes color depeneding on the reservation status)
• Select Cancel from the menu
• NOTE: There is no option to Notify Guest from this menu
• The reservation is now cancelled.
