Balances Due

Reservations that have checked out but are not paid in full

Active and pending reservations whose checkout date is today or earlier and that still carry an outstanding balance. The guest has come and gone, so anything left on this list is either money still owed or a payment that was collected but never recorded.

Each row shows the guest, the reservation total, what has been paid so far, the outstanding amount, the units and add-ons booked, and the stay dates. The most recent checkouts are at the top.

Working the list

For a guest who still owes money, open the reservation and use Collect Payment to charge a saved card or send the guest a payment request.

If the guest paid at the resort — cash, check, or a card run outside CabinKey — open the reservation and use Log Payment to record it. The reservation drops off this list once its balance reaches zero, and your payment and revenue reports stay accurate.

An empty list means every stay that has ended is paid in full. If it is long, the usual cause is balances collected at check-in or checkout that were never entered; recording those as they happen keeps it short.

For balances on upcoming stays, see Deposits Due and the Outstanding column on the Reservation List.
