Minnesota Resorts

You Betcha!

While CabinKey™ can be an asset to any resort, lodge, or campground in the US and Canada, it is especially accommodating to Minnesota resorts. Let’s visit a few situations that Minnesota resorts face while renting their cabins.

Saturday to Saturday

Summers in Minnesota are short, so your resort needs to maximize the time. In the summer time, you want your guests to arrival Saturday after noon, stay for a week, and promptly leave Saturday morning. You’re not interested in renting the cabin to a weekender in the summer time.

CabinKey™ enables you to restrict bookings in the summer season to only allow arriving on Saturday and departing on Saturday. When your guest books on your website, you’ll have the peace of mind they are booking the length of stay that you’re looking to provide.

Occupancy Rates

You have cabins that can accommodate from two to eight people, and as such, want to ensure the party trying to pack eight people are charged accordingly. With CabinKey™, you can specify a base occupancy rate for four people, and charge the other four people a nightly or weekly rate.

Have different rates for age groups that exceed your base occupancy? No problem, you can configure as many age groups as you like. Have a different rate for toddlers, children, teenagers, adults, or seniors? CabinKey™ can handle those situations with ease.

Limit Future Booking

Repeat customers are the bread and butter of your resort. You love it when the Anderson’s stay in Cabin #3 the second week of June, every year. It’s been a family tradition for many years. It’d be a shame if someone online booked that ahead of them for next year.

A resort on CabinKey™ can limit how far in the future someone online can book a reservation. For instance, if you only want people booking 350 days in the future, that will give the Anderson family time to stay the week and book the following year when they check out.

Boat Rental

Some resorts are forced to treat their boats just like a cabin because their booking system doesn’t understand that boats and cabins are rented the same way. But on CabinKey™, you’ll be happy to know that boats have a category all their own and even a different type of rate structure. They don’t have the same rules are cabins and can be more flexible.
